Gorgeous breakfasts, the stay was relaxing!

The staff and the owner were all fabulously friendly. My comfort king room was equipped with an electronic key card, coffee/tea makers, and a work desk. The bathroom was big with a bath.

The staff are amicable, managed the parking on site.

Great location next to a beautiful hiking path and a nice beach. Very friendly staff allowed me to pay after reception hours. Room had tea, Nescafe, water, and brioche. Quiet restaurant nearby. a pleasant stay.

Very quiet location. Lovely terrace and gardens. Huge car park - no rush for spaces in the evening. Good breakfast buffet. Hotel does reasonably priced dinners.

A bit far out from the town centre, about 2.5 km, especially to walk back after an evening out. However there is a snack bar and a restaurant about 100 metres away.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Pornic and had a fantastic experience at Particulier Le Rocher Des Marais "Proximite Plage & Vue Mer Pour Certains Hebergements". The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach, and the parking was both free and secure. The beds were incredibly comfortable, allowing for a great night's sleep, and the free WiFi had excellent reception. I also loved the convenience of the electronic shutters on the windows, ensuring a peaceful and restful stay. Having a microwave and kettle in the room was a pleasant surprise, as it allowed us to enjoy snacks on our balcony. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful, even allowing us to keep our car parked until midday on the day of departure so we could explore the nearby coastline. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to return in the future.

This is a very nice hotel which does exactly what it says on the tin. It is clean , comfortable and very close to the small but active sandy beach at les sablons. It is located in a self contained small village 2 miles from the bustling and busy resort of Pornic. The breakfast is an additional 9 Euros per night per person so you need to consider this when booking. This can soon add up. We avoided these charges by visiting he local supermarket and having our own breakfast in the room. That said the hotel has a small resaurant which offers excellent value in the evening. You can order a 3 course meal of vey high quality for around 17 Euros. Staff are friendly and the facilitiesare extremely clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone but particiuarly people with small children. As we said the hotel is only 2 miles from bustling small resort of Pornic where during our stay had a lot going on. The resort also has a number of good value resuarants. If you don't have a car it might be more difficult to reach but the distance is short enough to travel cheaply by taxi and there is also a bus service although this may not be very frequent

Our only complaint and it is only small is that the Television sets had no English speaking channels. As we say not a major problem but surelysomething that could be adjusted quite easily in this day of satallite broadcasting.

Small hotel with very amiable staff. Airy and bright rooms, exceptionally comfortable bed. Lots of well presented options for meal. Quiet and wonderful location by the sea with views of the sea. Really enjoyable overall experience.

everything was good, amiable staff, excellent location just off a lovely beach for swimming and coastal walk and crepe van at the local beach. truly enjoyed food selection, meals were well presented and they have a lot of options.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beaches and beautiful coastal walks. Our room had a balcony with shutters to keep out the heat, and it was a nice surprise to find a microwave and kettle in the room when most of the restaurants in the area were closed. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh bread, cheeses, yogurts, fruits. The staff was welcoming and even booked a table for us at a recommended restaurant. a great value for money and I would definitely stay here again.

The proprietor was very friendly and welcoming. As a bonus, he spoke a lot more English than I spoke French! The room was clean, tidy and very adequate for an overnight stop. Next time, I'd be happy to stay longer and explore more of the local area. Pornic has lots to offer.
